| The MGE Office Protection Systems Evolution series is the perfect combination in terms of price, energy efficiency, manageability and versatility when it comes to protect servers and other networking equipment. It is available in 3 form factors (Mini Tower, High Density rack and Telecom rack) to meet any needs. The Evolution S models have been specifically designed for the next generation servers with power factor corrected power supplies and don’t need to be oversized to protect them. The battery runtime of most models can be extended with external battery packs to get several hours of battery backup in case of prolonged blackouts. The Evolution series can be network-managed using either a dedicated network card or through a proxy agent, and comes standard with a comprehensive suite of power management software tools. Among the numerous Industry firsts of this product line, the Evolution is the first line-interactive UPS in its class with an adaptable, multi-position PDU (Power Distribution Unit) that provides an innovative, space saving method of easily adding receptacles to the back, side or top of the UPS – freeing up much needed space in dense rack environments. In addition, optional universal HotSwap PDU modules allow the UPS to be replaced without interrupting the power supply – assuring power continuity. |
