  1. Do MGE Office Protection Systems products contain dangerous substances?
    >> MGE Office Protection Systems products do not produce dangerous or carcinogenic substances during their normal use. In compliance with European directives, they do not contain the following substances:
    - asbestos,
    - mercury or cadmium in the batteries,
    - PCB or PCT in the capacitors,
    - PBB or PBDE in the main plastics,
    - heavy metals in the packaging (< 100 ppm),
    - substances that can damage the ozone layer.
    MGE Office Protection Systems respects its list of environmental sensible substances .
  2. Do MGE Office Protection Systems' UPSs require safety information?
    >> MGE Office Protection Systems' UPSs are not dangerous products. A UPS is not inflammable, it can be touched, and it has no danger pictograms. However, the safety data sheet concerning the battery can be provided.
  3. Does my UPS installation require an ICPE (installations classified as being environmentally protected) declaration?
    >> This depends on the power of the installation and, in particular, its autonomy. If in doubt, contact a sales outlet or an MGE Office Protection Systems representative.
  4. Does MGE Office Protection Systems respect the regulations in force?
    >> Yes, MGE Office Protection Systems respects and anticipates the regulations.
  5. Does MGE Office Protection Systems propose a recycling service for equipments at the end of life?
    >> Yes, MGE Office Protection Systems proposes a recycling service for UPSs at the end of life.
  6. What happens to the batteries or parts that are worn-out and removed during maintenance operations?
    >> There is a recycling service. The batteries and components are disposed of through a channel that fully respects the environment. MGE Office Protection Systems is fully committed to recuperating and recycling worn-out appliances.
